GUY FAWKES RALLY - POSTPONED
It is with great regret here at SHMC we have been left with little choice but to postpone the Guy Fawkes rally due to be held on 9/10 November 2024.
Following on from our Facebook post at the weekend we haven’t seen enough entries materialise in the last couple of days. Our start/finish venue requires payment and with 120 miles of PR to embark on, our small team has been forced to cry enough.
Possibly we misjudged the date who knows? It’s tough as an organiser and club….. competitors want events but organisers need entries to make them viable to run and that’s just from a financial aspect let alone the countless hours volunteers put in to get them off the ground.
We will look into potential new dates in the New Year to see if we can find a home for the route.
We would like to thank and apologise to those of you that have entered.
We wish other events in the calendar more luck in finding the entries.
Hopefully we will see you at the Primrose 11/12 January 25 …….
